Christ Church Highbury

About

We are a lively and inclusive community of all ages, in the heart of Islington, with a common desire to deepen our understanding of God and to reach out to our community and borough. Our motto is “roots down, branches out”, a community that is rooted in faith and branching out in loving service. We represent a diverse group of people with a common desire to deepen our understanding of God and discover more about being a church together. We have a range of services for people at different stages of their spiritual journey. Many of our congregation meet regularly in smaller “home” groups and we run courses to nurture faith and meet the needs of the wider community. During the week, we also run a ‘Memory Café,’ for those who are lonely, isolated and confused, especially for those who have difficulties with their memory.
