As a faith community we promise to welcome anyone who walks through our doors. We promise to offer prayerful and practical support to those in need, within our means. We will provide a listening ear and will encourage people in their Christian faith, through small groups, corporate worship and 1:1 where necessary. We will work with any post-custodial services (NPS,CRC, Police/MAPPA, community chaplaincy organisation) to ensure that terms of resettlement plans/licence are not being breached. Our Shine Community Hub also operates a job and benefits club during the week and a FoodAid program linking with the local Foodbank and offering fresh fruit and vegetable hampers as well as emergency grocery provision. We also have our Step2Step support project offering practical assistance with a variety of issues. Through our hub we can offer practical support to those resettling into the community.
