About
St John’s tries to be a warm and welcoming church at the heart of East Dulwich, a church community made up of people of all ages and backgrounds. We are a part of the Church of England, in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. Our main Sunday worship is quite traditional, with a choir, music, candles and incense to help us to experience a sense of the sacred. We have tea and coffee afterwards, as well as parish lunches, quizzes, and social activities from time to time, as well as activities like coffee morning and lunch club in the week. We are members of the ‘Inclusive Church' network and try to challenge and overcome discrimination and prejudice.
When We Gather
Holy Communion Services: Sundays 8am and 10am, Thursdays (term-time) 12pm. We also have coffee morning, 10.30-12 Wednesday mornings, and lunch club, Thursdays 12.30pm (term-time)
