A lively welcoming church of up to about 150 congregation, mixed ages with many retired, committed to outreach within the local community, with facilities for children and youth. The local Christian bookshop is part of the overall ministry, as is Love Dereham (both are charities) which carry out much of the outreach. There is good cooperation with other churches in the town and with town events.
